WASHING

The paints we use for your creations are all underglazed meaning that they remain unaffected by use of food and cutlery. The rim of all the objects is always the most delicate part so please take extra care to not handle them too roughly.

Sudden changes of hot and cold temperatures can weaken ceramics. For protection, wash earthenware in warm water with a mild detergent.

Although our ceramics are suitable for dishwashers we recommend programmes at the lowest temperatures.

PLATES STORAGE

The underrims of the plates are unglazed. To protect plates stacked for storage, cover them with a paper towel or a piece of fabric.

Distribute weight evenly between the stacks of plates. Stack pieces of the same size and shape together in columns of four or six plates, or why not store plates upright in racks for a beautiful display!
